Our pupils hold important leadership roles in our school. They are responsible and mature young citizens who actively contribute to school life.
Lee Hobin, one of our School Governors, comes into school once every term, to hold discussions and listen to our pupils about life in school and takes actions, comments and ideas back to the governing board.
Our School Council meet weekly with Mrs Lalley. They talk about school life and how it could be improved. They organise events, competitions and community events. They meet with key members of the senior leadership team and other members of the school community to improve different aspects of school life.
Our school councillors are elected by their peers.

Our play leaders work on the key stage 1 playground promoting physical activity, co-operative play and friendship.
Our GIFT team work with Miss Turner to lead the spiritual life of our school. They are always busy, preparing worship, supporting younger children in prayer and working to support those less fortunate than themselves
Our reading buddies stay in at lunchtime to share stories with our younger children. They read to them as well as listen to them read and help them sound out unfamiliar words.
Our Eco council meet with Mrs Carr every week. They are working hard to make our school more environmentally friendly and they are particularly interested imn reducing the amount of waste our school community generates.
