At St William’s, we work closely with a variety of external agencies to offer wider support to our families.
|Father O’Brien is our Parish Priest. He works closely with our school community to guide the spiritual life of our school. He says Mass regularly in school and each class go up to church on Monday mornings to share in the celebration of the Eucharist. Father O’Brien and his Sacramental Programme team work with our Year 3 pupils to prepare them for the sacraments of Holy Communion and Reconciliation.|
School Nurse – Lyndsey Leatherbarrow
|Lyndsey comes in school regularly to support our families with any health issues that may arise. If you wish to meet with Lyndsey, please contact the school office. She is also available at Parents’ Evenings so please do catch her of you would like a chat about your child’s health needs.|
Bolton Behaviour Support Services – Kath Stridgeon
|Kath supports and promotes positive behaviour in all key stages of our school. She works in all classes but does support individuals where necessary. She also does home visits to ensure consistency between home and school. Kath holds a parents’ drop in from 8.30-9.30am every Thursday morning. She is available to speak to at parents’ evenings and currently hosting a PPP parenting course in school. Please speak to the school office for details.|
ACIS – Phillip Clegg
|Phil works in school supporting our families who are new to the UK. He has run 2 courses in school welcoming parents to come along and learn about life in Britain. He supports with language, both written and spoken and is on hand to offer guidance and support. Phil is available to chat to at Parents’ Evenings.|
