First Holy Communion

On Sunday, 14 of our pupils celebrated their First Holy Communion at St William’s church. It was a beautiful day on every possible sense of the word. The children looked beautiful and the church was packed with families and well wishers. In his sermon, Father O’Brien reminded us of our own baptism and how Jesus himself was baptised by John the Baptist. It was wonderful to celebrate with the children as they continued on their faith journey and received the Eucharist for the first time.  Everyone was smiling and families were so proud – a day to treasure indeed!
