Preparations

As the summer holidays draw to a close, we look forward to our school being a hub of excitement and activity once again. Usually, during the schools holidays, the teachers come in school to plan, prepare and ensure our school is as warm and welcoming as it ever was. I know many of you live locally and you may have seen lots of comings and goings over the summer. This year, the whole of EYFS and KS1 has benefitted from a full electrical rewire. However, this huge job has meant that school has been out of bounds and we have not been able to get into the building until today. The final work is being done and we are fortunate to have a team of cleaners who are making sure the school is spick and span ready for Monday morning.

We are very excited to see the children again and support them as they start the next chapter on their school journey. Every year brings with it the hope of new beginnings and new adventures. Please keep our school community in your prayers as we embark on another year, growing and learning together.

Lord Jesus, we ask for Your help as we begin this new school year.
Allow us to experience Your presence in the many blessings You put
before us.
Open our eyes to the new challenges and exciting opportunities that this
new school year brings.
Open our hearts and minds to new friends and new teachers.
Give us a generous spirit to be enthusiastic with our studies and courage
to accept new opportunities.
Help us to be attentive to our teachers and let us experience Your
presence in our new friends.
Jesus, inspire us to do our best this year!
