Prepare ye the way of the Lord…

“And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Most High; for you will go before the Lord to prepare his ways, to give knowledge of salvation to his people in the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, whereby the sunrise shall visit us from on high to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.” Luke 1:76-79

We are so busy in school, making our preparations for the coming of our Savior this Christmas. We use our advent wreath to help us focus on the key messages that the season brings; hope, love peace and joy for all of mankind.

From our youngest to our eldest children we reflect on the need to take special moments away from the hustle and bustle of this season, to contemplate the events in Bethlehem all those years ago. The nativity story is shared and told with joy, right across school.
