Sunshine and SATs!
This half term is one of the quietest of the year around school as our children make their final preparations for the end of key stage assessments. It’s all hands on deck here and we are all completely committed to ensuring that the children have access to all the help and support they need. All our children work incredibly hard and the effort they are putting in is extraordinary – we are so proud of them all!
The sunshine made a brief appearance last week and was a wonderful reminder of how lovely the summer term is for children. Whilst I do not remember all my lessons at primary school, I have vivid memories of long, hot lunchtimes picking buttercups and making daisy chains on the school field. As soon as our school field is dry we will open it every lunchtime and make sure it is well used for picnics, games of rounders and all the fun in the sun activities that memories are made of. I can’t wait!
