We are Family!
You might hear you child talk openly about our school family at home. We refer to our school family constantly here in school. As a school family, we are community rooted in love – love of one another and love of Christ. The children are reminded constantly that there will be problems along the way, relationships are not always easy. However, just like a family, we move on through forgiveness and love and ultimately we are brothers and sisters in Christ. Our older children act as caring role models and have responsibilities such as; reading buddies or play leaders. The GIFT team lead the younger children in prayer and worship instilling in them, the gospel values that they promote so beautifully. We want our children leave our school family as caring and responsible young people ready for the challenges of the wider world. Promoting family values teaches them that we all have a responsibility in making our school the wonderful place that we all want to be part of.
We consider everyone in our school community to be part of our wider school family. We offer many opportunities for you to come into school and share in the wonderful work that goes on. Please do take the opportunities to attend coffee mornings, assemblies and ‘stay and share’ session where you can.
We were delighted that in both inspections least summer, relationships at all levels were judged as outstanding. This is something that we are very proud of.
