Back to School
We are so excited to be opening our school again on Monday 7th September. Never before have we felt so eager to get our school family back together where we all belong.
Many of our children came back to school in June so will be familiar with the new routines. We can assure you that the changes are subtle and school still feels like the safe, secure and familiar place it always was. Thank you to the parents who filled in the questionnaires in July – we delighted with how happy you were with the support we offered you through the lock down. We really did appreciate your kind comments.
We will of course, be insisting on good personal hygiene and the children will be washing their hands a lot. School will be well ventilated and the children will not be mixing classes. Some of our eldest children may need to eat their lunch in the classroom to help us keep everyone at a safe distance in the school hall. There will be some changes but for most children, school won’t feel any different than it did before.
We have built in some extra time during the school day to support the children with any issues or anxieties they may have – every child will have had a different experience over the last 6 months and we want to make sure we support them as they settle back into school life. We are also here to support our parents -we are only a phone call away if you need us.
We look forward to seeing all the happy, smiling faces on Monday 7th September. Until then, stay safe everyone!
