Settling Down
The children have been back in school for over a week now and the corridors once again buzz with the excitement and chit chat of normal school life. Everyone has settled in beautifully including our newest children down in Reception. We are loving getting to know them and their families and they already feel very much part of our school community.
This however, is still a very challenging time. The infection rate for Bolton remains stubbornly high and we are being extra vigilant to ensure that our new routines for keeping everyone safe are known and adhered to by all. It is vitally important that we give the children constant reminders about good personal hygiene without causing them extra stress or anxiety. As ever, I am very grateful to the staff here at St William’s for their skilled and professional approach to promoting the positive mental heath and well-being of our pupils whilst adhering to all the recommend safety measure and more. The children are so happy to be back in school; it is a joy to see.
We will continue to take each day as it comes and hope and pray that this situation improves in time.
Yesterday has gone, tomorrow has not yet come. We only have today.
