Happy New Year 2021!
2020 was a very difficult year for us all and we faced challenges that we could have never predicted. Our school closed to most pupils in March, partially opened in June and fully opened in September. We were blessed with an Autumn term of stability for our school community and faced minimum disruption to learning. School felt relatively normal again as we kept calm and carried on, despite Bolton’s infection rates being some of the highest in the country.
Unfortunately, whilst the situation in Bolton has improved, the national picture is in declining and we are once again, faced with uncertainty about how the new term will look. Whilst 2021 promised so much hope, we are now facing more lockdown, new variants and potential school closures. It is not the start to the new year any of us were hoping for.
The staff are working hard to ensure that they are fully prepared to deliver home learning should they need to. We will do our very best to support all our families in anyway we can during this next uncertain period.
It is at times such as these that we need your prayers more than ever. Please keep our school community in your thoughts and prayers. Here at school we will continue to have hope as we ask our Lord to keep us safe and healthy in these worrying times.
Even if school closes, we will be here. Please just pick up the phone if there is anything at all you need support with-we will do our best to help.
